They say money can’t buy you happiness…but it can help in the search.

I won’t get into the fact that I live in Nevada, and sometimes money can buy love…

…but what I can let you know is about searching…for brokers that is – you just knew somehow I would work insurance into this newsletter, didn’t you?

This month I want to clarify a misconception and give some reasons for having a broker.

The first misconception is that there is a fee for brokers.  Having a broker does not add any additional premium to your bill – at all.  Whether you have a broker or not your premium will remain the same.  Of course, if you want to pay additional, I am sure that the insurance companies would be happy to relieve you of your over-burdened money.

Brokers are also informed with the latest changes to health care. Unless you have insomnia, then by all means, read the latest on health care reform, and report back to me.

Brokers can help to find the best coverage and plans for you or your group as they have many carriers from which to work.  We also have the best stuff to give away.

Speaking of giving away stuff, this month’s prize winner was Brieanne McKernan from Dr. Pratima Sachdev’s office.  Dr. Sachdev has been a long-time client of ACS Insurance.  Dr. Sachdev is a pediatrician and can be reached at: (775) 786-0909.

Want to get in on the fun of winning monthly?  It’s easy – simply refer someone to our agency, call for quote, or “like” us on Facebook.

If you don’t currently have a broker, don’t know his/her name, or they are not around at renewal time, maybe it’s time to give ACS Insurance a call.

Final thought… one of my favorite holidays is upon us…no, not Halloween, it’s Nevada Day on October 31st.  Did you know that just a few years ago Mother-in-Law’s day coincided with Halloween?  I am quite certain that it was a disgruntled Daughter-in-Law who picked that date – after all, it is also the Month of Free Thought and National Sarcastic Awareness Month, which would give to reason why she picked that date.  Whatever you are celebrating this month, make sure you have a broker with whom you can share in the sarcasm.

Until next month,
